About Marlon
Marlon is a very special child. Due to a brain-injury suffered
during his infancy, he is unable to control his arms or legs and is developmentally delayed.
He cannot walk, talk or feed himself. This condition is often labeled cerebral
palsy, which refers to the outward physical symptoms of a brain injury and is
not in itself a disease.
Marlon is the oldest of four
children, and likes the company of his younger sisters and brother, who are
usually gentle playmates. He enjoys
going for long walks, playing with his shaky stick, swimming and, of course,
painting with his mom. Please be sure to
let Marlon and Arika know what you think of the paintings by sending them a
note.
